Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

At Cine EU, protecting your personal data is something we take seriously, not as a legal formality but because we know how much trust you place in us when you sign up for an IPTV subscription or become an IPTV reseller through our platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and what rights you have as a Cine EU customer anywhere in the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, France, Ireland, Austria, or the wider European market.

We have kept this document plain and readable. If anything below is not clear, message us on WhatsApp and a real person from our team will explain it.

Who we are

Cine EU is an independent OTT and IPTV service operated by the same team behind Cine GB in the United Kingdom. Our operational base is at Office 1245, 85 Dunstall Hill, Wolverhampton, UK. We serve European households and IPTV resellers with streaming subscriptions, credit based reseller panels, and free trial access across 15 plus European countries. Learn more about the operation on our about page.

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR, Cine EU is the data controller of the personal data you share with us.

What information we collect

We only collect what we genuinely need to run the service and support you properly.

Account information. Your name, email address, WhatsApp number, and the country you are streaming from. This lets us activate your subscription, verify payment, and send device setup instructions.

Payment information. When you pay by SEPA bank transfer, PayPal, card, or cryptocurrency, the payment provider processes the transaction. We only see confirmation that payment was received, along with your name and the amount. We never store your full IBAN, card number, or wallet address on our servers.

Device information. For app support, we may need to know your device type (Firestick, Samsung TV, LG TV, MAG box, etc). For Samsung and LG televisions, we may need your MAC address to activate the playlist against your specific TV.

Support conversations. Your WhatsApp messages, emails, and any screenshots you send us during support requests. These are stored so we can help you faster next time you contact us.

Usage information. Basic technical logs including your IP address at the time of streaming, the EU server region you connected to, and general connection quality data. This helps us monitor uptime and troubleshoot buffering complaints.

Reseller information. If you use our reseller panel, we also store the customer lines you create, your credit balance, your retail pricing, and any sub reseller accounts you manage.

How we use your information

Your data is used only for the following:

  • Activating and maintaining your Cine EU IPTV subscription or reseller panel
  • Providing support through WhatsApp, email, and our support page
  • Sending occasional service updates such as scheduled maintenance notices or new channel additions
  • Processing payments and issuing invoices in euro
  • Preventing fraud, abuse, and unauthorised access to the service
  • Improving stream quality, app performance, and reseller panel functionality

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not run advertising campaigns based on your personal information. We do not share your details with data brokers, marketing companies, or affiliate networks. Full stop.

Who we share data with

We only share your personal data with a small number of trusted parties, and only when strictly necessary to run the service:

  • Payment processors including PayPal, our SEPA banking partner, and card acquirers, to process your payment
  • Hosting and CDN providers who run the European servers your streams are delivered from
  • App partners including Ora IPTV Player and the developers of our custom Cine GBEU Windows Player and Cine GB APK, but only when you log into those apps
  • Authorities, only when required by a valid EU court order or equivalent legal request under GDPR, or a UK court order under UK GDPR

We select our partners carefully and require them to protect your data to the same standard we do.

How long we keep your data

We retain your personal data only as long as it is needed:

  • Active subscribers and resellers: for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months after cancellation, in case you return or ask about a previous account
  • Support conversations: 24 months, so we can respond faster if you contact us again
  • Payment records: 6 years, as required by UK and EU tax and accounting law
  • Streaming logs: 90 days, then automatically deleted

If you want your data deleted sooner, you can request that at any time.

Your rights under EU GDPR and UK GDPR

You have full control over your personal data. As a Cine EU customer, you have the right to:

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct any information that is out of date or incorrect
  • Delete your account and personal data, subject to legal retention limits
  • Restrict how we process your data
  • Object to certain types of processing
  • Port your data to another provider in a common format
  • Withdraw any consent you previously gave

To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp or through our contact page. We respond within 30 days as required by law.

Cookies

Our website uses a small number of essential cookies to keep the site running properly, remember your preferences, and give us anonymous analytics on how visitors use the pages. We do not use tracking cookies for advertising. If you want to reject non essential cookies, you can do so in your browser settings.

Data security

Your data is stored on servers protected by industry standard encryption, access controls, and 24 hour monitoring. Payment data is handled by PCI compliant providers. Support conversations are stored on secured WhatsApp Business infrastructure. Internal access to your data is restricted on a strict need to know basis.
